Food is excellent. The wait staff, can be pretty amateur, although some are really nice. Food can take a bit to cook even when there isn't many people there, but it's a nice place to sit and talk while watching people walk by. There's tables outside the establishment so you can take your pets.
The one downside to Babalu is the can't accommodate more people! I'm a regular here on the weekends for breakfast - it's the only good place on Montana Ave. As I tell all first-timers, trust me - try the breakfast burrito!
