so funny - i know 2 of the other reviewers, and i respect their opinions. this is one of my 3 favorite restaurants. it's really delicious and reliable, they have great wines, and robyn is right -- pork chops and bread pudding rule! the only problem is the noise -- they have bad acoustics, so intimate convos are tough in that place. BTW - sitting at the counter is a good way to eat there!

I love Axe. I have eaten there a few times and from now on I will only order the pork chops. The rest of their menu is good but if I don't order the pork chops I am angry with myself. Also, their bread pudding is fantastic. It's a good place for star sightings too. Last night we saw Laura Dern and Ben Harper.
