Great restaurant with great food! I could literally eat the flour tortillas all night (make sure you eat them hot and add butter!). The garlic butter shrimp was so delicious too - good amount of shrimps in a great sauce. Can't wait to go back again.
Not only are the meals amazingly delicious...I've been a patron for about 3 years, but the Tortillas are amazing. Hand made while you wait for your entre. The waiters are friendly and it has a very personal feel to it. Go here if you haven't been yet!
I've been to Casablanca several times, after a friend from Boulder recommended it to me, and it's in my neighborhood! All the food I've had was good, and I especially like the shrimp dish I had. You can't get fresher flour tortillas, as you can watch them being made. The decor is a bit campy - Moroccan instead of Mexican, but that doesn't matter. The decor doesn't have to match the cuisine.
This place is truly unique in the fact that it is a Mexican restaurant with a "Casablanca" (and I don't mean white house, I mean Casablanca the movie) feel. You walk in and you see all this stuff (for lack of a better word) relating to Africa, Morocco, the movie, etc......but the menu serves Mexican food (which leaves a LOT to be ...
I have been there twice. I liked the hot, homemade tortillas they serve to you as soon as you sit. The green salsa melts in your mouth as you take a bite from your hot tortilla. Scumptious! Don't down too many tortillas so you can have room to eat your main dish.
The atmosphere is the best anywhere!! I am a huge fan of Humphrey Bogart, and this restaurant's theme is all about Bogie! The food and service are wonderful as well. It is a very enjoyable dining experience. The entertainment is perfect also.
