Great food, friendly service, all one could ask for. I had my retirement party here, and everyone loved it.

My son-in-law is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and when he and my daughter moved out here, we suggested he try it. His verdict was, "best he had had outside Louisiana."

Some reviewers should maybe stick to ramen.

This place is not what it's cracked up to be by fellow Yahoo reviewers. The food is mediocre at best and is surprisingly overpriced. I ordered the combo plate which includes rice and beans and gumbo over rice. I was terribly disappointed. The gumbo was overly salty and had no other flavor than the massive amount of sausages that were thrown in. ...

This place is awesome. The food is great and very tasty. I love the atmosphere...It's casual and friendly. I wish there was better parking and I wish they stayed open all day instead of closing for a few hours. There are times when a friend and I would decide to go to Ragin Cajun and It will always be around the hours they were closed. Other ...

  • Acadiana Without Leaving California
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/23/07
I have been a fan of the Ragin' Cajun Cafe for many years now.

Stephan Domingue, or Steve as I call him, and his family are down to earth, friendly, caring, Cajuns from Lafayette, Louisiana, and the food they serve shows it.

In my honest opinion, the food at the Ragin' Cajun Cafe is the best Cajun food to be found this side of ...

  • A taste of New Orleans on the beach
    By Pez, 04/05/05
Looking for a fun, casual and delicious meal for under $20? Look no further. Ragin' Cajun is delicious. Start off with an appetizer of fried alligator, then have the Shrimp Creole with red beans and rice. (Make sure to top it off with the house garlic hot sauce.) Wash it down with a cold beer, and you've got a can't-miss meal. A great value and friendly service from the owner, who always seems to be there.
