By far the best cajun and creole cuisine outside of Louisiana. The Mac and Cheese is to die for, the blackened ANYTHING and the gumbo, alligator, ettouffee...oh my god, I wanna go RIGHT NOW! Home cooked, home feel, The owner gives us a hug EVERYTIME we go! She and her husband are so WARM...way better than Ragin Cajun just a few doors down...no comparison!

When I moved to Hermosa, I lived just behind this quaint place. I could smell the wonderful food cooking. When I went in, I became acquainted with the owners, and the outstanding food they serve. I have been there many times over the last few years, even though I have moved to a different area of Hermosa. Stop in and try it. Bring your favorite bottle of wine. You'll love it, I am sure. Very nice location and setting for an incredibly good dining experience. New Orleans Cajun and Creole is a small restaurant with a lot of charm. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food ... delicious.

This restaurant is the best place in Hermosa to eat Cajun/Creole food. They serve food with love. The food is excellent and the staff are really friendly. I like the red beans and rice with sausage.
