A treat for sure! High prices, but the flavor of all the food was like an explosion in my mouth. My husband and I are total Foodies. We eat out a lot, and this restaurant kicks some serious butt!! Ribeye with black truffle sauce was unbelievable. Tempura Rock Shrimp, Tempura Crab, Peruvian Chicken Skewers, Sashimi Tuna with citrus soy sauce, ...

I love this place, especially the spicy seafood soup. Yes, it's very pricey, but you're in Malibu. Everything is. We will always go back!

Nobu Malibu is my favorite restaurant ever! It is definately the greatest restaurant in town, if not it is the best sushi restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. I have been eating at Nobu for years and the food is always extraordinary. My absolute favorite is the Black Cod with Miso Sauce. I would also recommend the Taradito. Also, do not ...

Great sushi, high price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/07
The food is great, as is the celebrity sightings (Dean Cain, Jane Seymour, Sir Anthony Hopkins...). But the prices are way up there. $100 for dinner for 2 is common.
If you're looking for great sushi, Nobu would have it. It's fresh.. and the place is famous. But, it's way expensive for what you get. The service is above average, but not excellent. I think if you're not a celebrity... then it's best to go elsewhere.

Great food, but a little pricey.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/05

way way overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/05
I am not sure how this restaurant is keeping it's reputation. Yes, the food was good but given the prices, it was way out of line. The atmosphere is awful (plastic covers on the table), the service particularly rude, and the prices ... $200 for a dinner for two and we only ordered 1 beer each.
