We live both here and Japan, travel Japan extensively, and have never had better sushi anywhere than this restaurant. The owner/chef really caters to experienced afficionados. Rightfully, he takes his skill and quality quite seriously and expects the same from his customers, including proper etiquette. I do not recommend Sushi Sushi to beginners ...
If you like sushi, this is probably the best in town. Small and quiet. There is a sign announcing their "No Cell Phone" policy, which is a great idea:-)

Before I make any more claims to how great they are I have explain that I have probably spent over $5000 in sushi in the last few years in SF and LA as well as Japan and am very particular about the details.

The sushi here is great. However, the staff was brusque with us. We'll try them out again, but we prefer the warm more laid-back atmosphere of Sushi Kiyono up the street.
