a lovely place! one of the most romantic restaurants i have ever been to. and yes, i live to fine dine! have traveled a lot, and this place is one of the top on my list. very small and elegant place. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion with someone close to their heart.
i really enjoyed the rack of lamb i had the last time i was here. it looked and tasted beautifully!

il cielo was the most disappointing place i have ever been to. the food was below average. the fish was too fishy (you can get better in monteray park for $10) and the steak was horrible (burnt on the outside and not tender).

when i made the reservation i made a note that it was a bday event however there was no acknowledgement at all!

My boyfriend took me to Il Cielo for our anniversary dinner a while back. I was so surprised at the wonderful ambiance and the great service. The food was delicious and worth every penny.
I will definitely go back there again.

wonderful Italian food on a barren strip of Burton Way. don't miss it on the eastbound lane (Burton is one-way divided). be nice to the gentile owner and he may comp you a glass of super tuscan.

The food wasn't as good as i anticipated it to be but the scenery made up for it.
