I think that the first time visitor will be impressed and satisfied. Living in LA, you sometimes get jaded by the glitz and glamour. I've seen a few celebrities there from time to time but the real attraction for me is the food. They have outstanding Vientamese food! While overpriced, the food is very, very good. The decor is also quite imaginative - glass covered koi pond that you walk over as you enter the restaurant.

I dont know if the previous reviewers and I went to the same restaurant, but this place- it was AWFUL. What a waste of $200. I had extremely high hopes but was EXTREMELY disappointed. THis is the reason why:

Wonderful garlic noodles, great service. The four of us ordered drinks from the bar and honest to God, the best cocktails Ive ever tasted. I had a pear martini unlike anything ive ever tasted.

We arrived on time for our reservation and waited for 30 minutes to be seated. while waiting at the bar we were largely ignored by the bartenders who were busy making drinks for the tables while ignoring those at the bar. This restaurant is absolutely theeee BEST ambiance,food,service and hospitality to say the least! The cook came out to meet our party of 8 and was very pleasant! The ice wine he suggested was to die for! Very pricy, but who cares when your whole experience dining here is definately a memorable one! I would reccomend Crustacean's to everyone!!! 5*****

Good location, but I heard they are moving because their lease price was increased. Never had bad service like some people have said. The food is excellent. The waiters are friendly and helpful with dish choices. The garlic noodles are the best.

This restaurant is great! Wonderful crab is a special aromatic sauce and great side orders to match. Did I mention the dessert? All in all, one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The ambience is nice as well with the great decor. I loved walking over the fish pond!
