Used to be the best . Not anymore . The sausage and eggs are still good but the good chilli burger days are over.

The first thing, I do whenever I come to visit my family in Hollywood, is drive straight to Tommy's at Rampart Blvd. In 1969, I was introduced to Tommy's Hamburgers through a friend in college. I remember those longgggg lines. The first time, I waited in a long line, I said to myself, "WOW!! this must be some kind of ...

I lived in the San Fernando Valley for almost 40 years and fell in love with Tommy's after first trying Bob's Bigboy in Van Nuys in 1961. I can tell you that nothing compares to a Tommy's Chili Cheese Burger or a Tommy's Chili Cheese Dog. I now live in Boynton Beach, FL and sure do miss making a "Tommy's Run". Whenever ...

I lived in LA from 1966-76, as a Hollywood Hippie, I would hitch rides to Tommy's at Bev/Rampart since they were open all nite! Those Greasy ChiliBurgers were so good back then, all made by MEN around 40 yrs old! Then I moved to the Valley and Tommy's opened by Busch Gardens-same burgers, great taste. But I've got to say, when In-n-Out ...

Tommy's is overrated. I was not impressed at all. When I lived in Riverside, there was a Tommy's there that was great for about 5 yrs, then it became crap. Since I am Mrs Klingon Pasadena, I can tell you that if you are ever in Pasadena, go to Islands or Hamburger Hamlet if you want an outstanding burger.

Grew up near the one by the brewery in the valley. My bros still hit up Tommy's as soon as they get to town. TG for opening a couple in Vegas. A bit of home in the desert!!! Always referred to them as , "Gut Bombs" . Everyone knew where we were talking about!!! Now they need one in Highland, CA cuz you gotta eat them fresh, before the grease all soaks into the paper!

Had Tommy's once when I first moved to LA. Never again, it was so sloppy that I couldn't eat it. And the chili was not good at all. In & out is a far better burger.

Grew up in Pico Rivera,Ca...Loved It! I went to the one on Whittier and Durfee. Now that I live in Oklahoma, I e-mailed Tommys to see if they would open one out here. They said no, however, they do sell the chilly by the bucket and with instructions on re-heating the chili and what bun to use for the burger to give it the special Tommy flava. Tommys, my wife and I miss you!
