I was SO hyped to Try In-N-Out! I've heard nothing but "hype hype hype" for YEARS. I finally went on a vacation to the west coast and spotted an In-N-Out and made the taxi go out of his way to drive to it! Waited 15 minutes on the inside.... finally was handed my regular cheeseburger... got back into the taxi, rode to the hotel... sat ...

Let me make it easy for everyone...order a 4X4 w/xtra grilled onions. That's a burger!!!

And you have to ask for UNsoggy fries???? Oh yeah, I'm impressed.

The closest to a fun burger is White Castle. No pretense. Order a burger and it comes with grilled onions. And the fries come unsoggy. You don't even have to ask!

But for ...

In n Out is good for a chain, so is Tommy's, but there are many better burgers in L.A. IMHO, the best burger in L.A. is Cassell's on 6th St near Vermont. The burgers are made with U.S.D.A. Prime beef and grilled on a special grill that keeps them juicy. It doesn't get any better than that. Now go give 'em a try!!!

the menu isn't really that limited. you just gotta find out whats on the "not so secret menu"

Yum in and out always just wonderful sounds like an idea for dinner tonight double double with extra chesse and spread ... animal style fries and a big coke ooohhhhh yeah oh and you can't forget the strawberry shake it just makes the meal. If you honestly write a bad review about in and out then you must not like hambugers or you just don't know whats good .

I've lived in L.A my whole life, I've grown up on this burger and yes, there are other great burger joints, but, In-n-out has to be one of the best. The ingredients are always fresh, from the lettuce to the tomatoes, always fresh and crisp. And for those of you who like more meat than what the double double offers, ask for a 3x3 or 4x4, ...
