Nyala is not the place for authentic Ethiopian food. Any of the spots on the other side of the street are better: rahel's, messob, marathon, etc. It's too expensive and very Westernized.

Visited Nyala this evening, as I'd been craving Ethiopian food for months. Unfortunately, dinner didn't meet expectations. The service in particular was atrocious. Took a half hour just to receive ordered drinks and water, and the staff didn't seem to understand the concept of refills on empty glasses of water at all. The food ...
