I've traveled in Japan, eaten at more Japanese restaurants than you can imagine in Los Angeles.... this is a good value in that it has high quality beef (texture and flavor) with efficient and polite service.

Atmosphere is another matter but if you've spent time in Japan, some of the most famous spots (quality & reputation) look like this place.

Food is just more than ok. However, it doesn't deserve you to wait for at lease 1 hour for it. The store is too small to let you enjoy your meal. It is also impossible to have good atmosphere in this small seat. What can i say, there are many other good shabu shabu around LA, not just this one. If you realy got nothing to do, fine, go try it!!

From the outside the restaurant is rather simple and banal. When you walk inside there is only a large island bar type table with chairs for customers to sit next to each other.
