Excellent overall. Family owned and it shows in the quality of the food and service. Everything is homemade. Relaxed atmosphere. I kept it simple and had the spaghetti and meatballs, my wife chose the chicken marsala. Both were exceptionally good and the portions were generous. We also had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which were to die ...

Oh my gosh! I recently ate dinner here and had the Shrimp Portofino (spelling?) and it was amazing! My waitress was exceptionally nice and the atmosphere was great. Do try it!

I went to Two Guys recently and had an outstanding experience. The service was lovely, a very knowledgable staff, and they even took the time to song Happy Birthday to a kid when it was evidently extremely busy. I tried the chicken maria and it tasted delicious. The prices seemed adequate for the large portions we were served and I was overall ...

I used to love Two Guys From Italy, having grown up with them in the San Fernando Valley since the arounf 1970. But I ate at the Gardnerville location recently and found the food to be below average, and the service atrocious. Even Olive Garden has more interesting flavours than TGFI the other night. Like another comment here, my cheese ravioli ...

This place should get to know the meaning of al dente.
There pasta and ravioli is totally overcooked. The ravioli is filled with water. Yuck! And the pizza is ok but over priced.

  • Good food, nice people

Two Guys from Italy in downtown Minden/Gardnerville is a great family restaurant. I've always found the service prompt and friendly, the food good - try the eggplant and get extra sausage - and the prices reasonable.

The bar is also good if you're on your own or with friends. You can order the full menu, and the staff is great. Go on a Tuesday for a great bloody mary made by the owner's wife.

  • Hurry up and wait!

I was anticipating what I had remembered from visiting another one of this chain in many years ago; clean, prompt service, and nice ambience. My husband and I ordered spaghetti and twenty-five minutes later was told that the kitchen forgot to make it. I thought spaghetti was a staple that was made every day in large quantities? We almost left but ...

  • Romantic spot for evening dining or special events
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
Food was excellent, had a Romantic atmosphere, although it was a little high on cost... but worth it for a special event or night out. Meals are large so try spliting a meal with a loved one.
