I visited Artesia about 3 weeks ago. Ate nearly every meal while there. I thought the food and service was very good. I guess mostly unhappy people write reviews. I'm happy. Dave

It's bad. I live in this town and I can honestly suggest, if you care about the quality of your food, you not go to this place for a meal.
A couple of things: Don't assume the brown gravy that comes with your beef meal will be a beef gravy.

We love to eat steak but this is not the place- prices are low and they should be- food is YUCK. Everything is pre-prepared (if it's not then yikes, even worse), steaks are not good cuts, not well cooked. Salad bar is fair. Atmosphere is very casual. Oh and they are rationing napkins- we asked for extras (we have a two year old) and our waitress told us they were not allowed to give extra napkins, it costs too much!
