Everything feels sticky and dirty. This place has gone down hill since the last time I went.

i had an unfortunate experience while visiting Clovis. i realize this is a "different" dining alternative for Clovis/Portales residents, but they can do better. The food was good (but our tastebuds were dying due to the extended wait) and the waitress was fine. The chef was entertaining, but not remotely Asian.
The worst part was Manager ...

The food is decent at best. The place could be a little cleaner. it had the feel that there was old fryer oil all over everything. I guess you can't complain when it's the only Japanese food for 100 miles.

I'll admit that I've never been to a Japanese Steakhouse before, however, I find Shogun's very lively and entertaining. The food is delicious. And it's a fun environment to share with friends, family and loved ones.

Not a great restaurant. The floor was dirty, the beef was chewy, and the seafood way overcooked. The plate I was given was streaked and the chairs were sticky-dirty. The server was surly and rude, looking bored and practically insulting one of the guests. I've eaten better Japanese in a rice bowl place. Maybe it was just a bad night.

I have had worse tepinyaki, but i guess i was spoiled after when i was stationed in japan. All in all food is good but atmosphere could be a little more fun and lively.

Took my sister and children there last night. The Cook was very entertaining and the food was wonderfull.

Shoguns was real good yo, they were real sweet to me and my boyfriend on our 3month aniversary. Shoguns is the best place for a date in this areas, I am so much appreciated to this place for making a memorable night for me and my man. But i guess they cant live up to what happened after OKAY!
