No spice to the chile, expensive pricing. I have a menu of theirs from three years back and their combo burrito was $5.75, now its $8.75!!!!! As a local, I am disappointed by their pricing and the lack of friendly servers. It used to be that you could not get a job at this place unless you were the BEST. Want good chile, go to the South Side Diner ...

This is excellent food! Very clean! Its in the down town area, and walking distance to the plaza. The green chilie is nice and hot!!! Use with caution. Its more fun in the fall with the events that accure in the plaza.

It was with some concern that I dined here last week because some of the reviews rated it poorly. I have been going to Tomasita's for more than 20 years, and had always been pleased, but I know that owners and chefs change. I found Tomasita's to be the same wonderful restaurant that I remembered. I grew up in New Mexico, and I have been ...

This is a tourist haunt. The locals go here to pick up on state workers on friday nights or to meet friends from out of town. The prices are too high, and the chile is not hot enough. Their "swirl" margarita/sangria is the only boon... earns them one star.

I visit sometimes twice a year from CA and always find the food consistently good. However, the sopapillas just aren't as good as they used to be (but I found that in the numerous NM restaurants I ate in on this last trip)....they are my #1 choice of NM food that you can't find any where else. Love the atmosphere and drinks. Great for big parties. Everyone really friendly. Fast service. JUNE 2008

A favorite of tourists and most locals, good consistent New Mexican food and strong margaritas make this a must stop! No reservations are taken, first come first serve so try the off days! Once seated service is usually very fast.

A staple of the Santa Fe scene, Toma's serves up some damn good eats. As a local that has been going for over 25 years it has become quite the hot spot but don't fret, have a swirl or frog & enjoy seeing some old friends. Order up the mexican steak platter or the Tuesday special, red & green.

Love love love the margaritas! Food is good. Always super busy no doubt. We are from out of town but visit when we are around. Interesting to read other reviews. Locals seem annoyed but visitors seem to still enjoy. Service for us not so great at each visit. That was a bummer each time but still enjoyed the drinks and food. Will always go back for more.

I have been a patron of Tomasitas Cafe for more than 20 years. Over the last few years it has lost what was left of the goodness. The food that was served to me was like fast food slop. I did not get what I ordered. When I tried to communicate what I ordered the waiter did not even understand what I was saying. I tryed to get someone elses ...
