The menu is standard fare for a Japanese restaurant and well executed. My experience with their is service is good overall, but occasionally a bit slow. For those from out of town, the restaurant can be a little harder to find as its off the main strip.
I really wanted to like Takashi since I love sushi. Unfortunately, the dining experience was ruined right from the start due to an inept waitress who spent more time in the kitchen chatting then waiting on her customers. It was a nice place, but I wasn't impressed other than with the little plant on the table. Our waitress was oblivious even when making eye contact. The group of men that entered loudly asking if they had a TV for the sports games ruined the ambiance. And the teriyaki sauce on my steak tasted more like watered down syrup.
