It started out that my boss, his wife, and my roomie and I went out to have dinner, we had heard about the French Quarter from quite a few people so we thought we would go check it out, was less then impressed when we pulled in the parking lot, the building looked like it needed to be torn down, but we decided to go ahead and give it a shot, the ...

Just had supper there. The surroundings are simple but the food superb. I had blackened catfish that was light, moist and flavourful with just enough cajun zip to the light batter to make me wish the serving was larger. The gumbo over rice was to die for. All served with a few hush puppies. I rarely have desert but I tried their bread pudding, a house specialty. It was a generous portion and also good. Well worth a visit.

Having been twice to the French Quarter I have to say this is a restaurant I will be going back to many times, and highly reccommend to anyone who wants some good Louisianna cooking in Tucson. Sampling everything from hush puppies, jambalaya, gumbo, etouffae, and alligator, I haven't found a dish yet that isn't wonderful. The service is ...
