That griffin around the corner (another epicenter of awesome) stares directly at the Grill longing to lift up it's huge orange-red sparkly claws, stomp down the street and get some tater tots and creamy pesto. I've driven the United States for the perfect diner. Route 10? nothing like it. 20? 40? 60? 66? 80? 78? 55? Nothing comes ...

The tator tots are awesome and the Pesto omelette's are excellent! Definitely worth the dough. Not to mention the free live entertainment while dining. I recommend a Pesto omelette with tator tots while listening to The Lemon Drop Gang. Jeff Justice. Born to judge.

The Grill is simply a terrible eating experience. During the annual Gem Show that takes place in Tucson, I was walking downtown and decided to go in with my girlfriend, but boy was that a mistake. What really got me was the staff. My server came off like he kinda had a screw loose. He was dirty, unattentive and just seemed really phony. I had to ...

My wife and I went here on vacation and were warned that the staff can be rude by our hotel staff. There was about a 10 piece country band playing that had some fine musicians so we wanted to stick around for awhile and I wanted to find out the name of the harmonica player. This was about 10 PM not 3 AM. First we ordered iced tea and it had some ...

We all got sick from eating there. Two days out and I am still out of commission. Had a close call or two and considered the emergency room. Avoid at all cost!!!

I have eaten at Grill dozens of times, beginning in 1997, and the burgers, tater tots, and omelets are consistently good. They will cook your burger to order (an increasingly rare treat) and you can usually get a table easily. I feel the prices are reasonable, and their butterscotch milkshake is dreamy!
Unfortunately, on Friday and Saturday ...

My friend took me here one day because I was hungry and I was about to faint. I should have fainted because the food made me want to expel. The establishment is freakin dirty and the service is HORRIBLE!!! I had to wait like an hour just for someone to come over and take our order. This place is also real shady. It's like eating in a ghetto ...
For God's sake, don't ever, ever, attempt to order Cheese Tots here. There is a warning on the menu not to attempt to order them, however, many uniformed visitors think this is some cute quirk. My limbs were severed and I was left to fend for myself after I ordered Cheese Tots. Save yourself! For God's sake, don't order Cheese Tots. ...
has really great coffee, but generally must of the food is overdone, and greasy-huge quantities and expensive for what it is. the fried bagel with creamcreese is good, and reasonably priced....

Weirdest Diner You Ever Loved
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/06
This is the type of divey restaurant that we dream about with a gourmet menu. It's not just meatloaf, it's meatloaf with wild mushroom sauce and steamed veggies. The french fries are fabulous and the burgers are MADE TO ORDER. They don't have a kid's menu but they halfed the side order for my 6 year old. It's worth the bus ride downtown.
