we visited carvers in glendale on bell road sunday 11/8/09..wow what a disappointment...i new we were in trouble when they brought out the bread which i could tell was warmed in the microwave!! the spicy shrimp appetizer was overly spicy and the shrimp were tough and rubbery...the salad was acceptable except for the caramelized onions,warm onions ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Very disappointing dinners for two of us. The Carvers $ 29.00 Prime Rib was mostly FAT and the Filet steak was overdone and not "butterfly open rare as requested". The waitress had an attitude and remarked " sometimes that happens, sorry about that". The meals were a waste for the prices charged and we would never recommend this ...SHOW FULL REVIEWOVERALL

My wife and I gave Carver's a try and were very dissapointed. I recommend taking your money and going to Firebird's, just south of Bell on 83rd. Carver's is overpriced, poor service and my steak was half grizzle. My wife's meal came out cold and we never received drink refills. Very sad, for the $68 spent.OVERALL

One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent food, excellent service and a great atmosphere. It's a wonderful place to go if you want a quiet, dinner atmosphere were you can dine and enjoy company and conversation.OVERALL

I got sick from their food last time I was there. I complained to management and they did NOTHING. And I mean, throwing up in the toilet kind of sick. I will NEVER go back there again. The food was aweful. The management is invisible. The waitstaff is listless and careless. A year ago, they managed to lose our debit card in the trash (I am not kidding, we ended up having to cancel our card).1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

AwesomeThis place is our favorite. It's classy yet unpretentious. The best spinach salad I have had in a while. The appetizer shrimp are huge. The Prime Rib is excellent. A great night out for under $100.OVERALL

Mothers day Great food poor serviceMothers day.. had reservations for 1245, Got in after 13:15. Sat at booth in Bar Area. I got the MD special for $38. Was disappointed in the Shrimp Cocktail. Can't you buy cocktail glasses? It took me over 30 Min to get the shrimp. The waitress was all apologys but did not give us any freebys.. She said she spaced us and forgot us. Food Steaks really tender, cut them with a fork.
Maybe I will try it again..OVERALL
