I used to live in Tempe and ate here regularly, as well as "taking over" the restaurant the evening after my wedding for dinner with friends -- absolutely loved the place. I just moved back to town and found a CVS Pharmacy there instead! Can anyone give an update as to where Sahara may have moved? I hope they still exist, they're a gem we don't want to lose.

I just read the last review posted on the 23rd on Jan. and I too was shocked to find this restaurant closed and fenced off. I ate there a few times myself and thought it was a neat location right across the street from Downtown. I hope they will reopen again. Their food was superb, prices fantastic, and they did a lot of business! I got to speak ...
