Authentic Southern Italian Food. The owners are wonderful and friendly. The service is good. Of course you need to remember that everything is cooked on the spot therefore fresh...but it may take few extra minutes....if you are in hurry let them know and they will acoomodate you....otherwise slown down, relax, enjoy your company and Buon Appetito! If you love home-style Italian food then this is the place! I haven't had a dish at La Ferrovia that I didn't like and I've never left hungry or disappointed.

This place has the best lasagna, which is my favorite dish. I've traveled the world over eating lasagna (even to Italy) and this place is the ultimate. Sometimes they make it with a hamburger, which isn't the best, but when they make it with ham- it's the best.

I make it a goal to eat here every single time I'm in Ogden or anywhere nearby. The food is wonderful - absolutely fabulous. The people are nice, but the service isn't very good, sad to say. I wouldn't let that discourage you - just know before you go that you may or may not have the best dining experience, but the food is SO GOOD that it doesn't really matter to me. Definitely a must-try if you like authentic Italian.
