I am from California and we went for my husbands birthday and we loved it. The service was amazing and even though we arrived late for our reservation, we were sat promptly. The food was really really good. Everything was a delite. I recommend this place to every sushi and japanese food fan.

My husband enjoyed his nagiri selections, but my meal was rather disappointing. The salad that came with my meal was essentially iceberg lettuce drowned in yellow dressing - I'd hoped for something more authentic, maybe seaweed or pickled cucumber salad.

My entree was the seafood/vegetable soup, which was just plain bad. The seafood in it ...

Let me just say this isn't the location that I go to. There's one on 900 S that's just south of Vanwinkle's intersection. It's owned by Ray and her husband, in fact, her husband is the chef.
This was the first place I ever ate sushi at. Ever since I've gone restaurant to restaurant, desperate to find sushi that are as good ...

very bad smell from the fish. I eat the same fish other places and I did not feel that smell before.
Fried onion was too oilish, I felt a little bit ill after I ate.

  • Can't wait to try it all....
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/06
My family took a chance and was absolutely delighted, the food was beautifully prepared and melted in our mouth. The different tuna's and specialites are marvelous and with the gentle coaching of the sushi chief our taste buds burst with the treats he served us. They thank every one who comes into their restaurant. Cant wait to go back again and again.

  • Sushi at its Finest
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/06
I love sitting at the Sushi bar, because the two sushi chefs are very friendly and will take the time, even when they are busy to answer any question you may have. When you do ask them about certain fish and other menu items they always give you a straight answer. But, if it is something they don't like personally they always allow the ...

Let's start off with the bad...parking and the hours!!! First of all, getting parking was the worst part of it.I had to get out and get us a table while my driver drove around for 30 minutes looking for parking.Once that was solved I realized that the restaurant stayed open for about 4 hours for lunch.Problem number two!! The only reason why I ...
