Have been to Lugano about 6-8 times and have had a great meal everytime. The service is nice, the place is spacious but intimate. If you can sit outside in the summer, that is a great idea, it is SO lovely out there. Consistently good food and service. We love going to Lugano.

Lugano's is the best Italian food in SLC. Quite simple: order the killer braised beef and eat the finest meal you will ever taste. Make reservations, dress to the hilt and go have a blast at the best Italian restuarant in town.

I speak from experience about Lugano. Greg Neville has consistently given his customers the best quality Italian dishes around. I am obviously a regular, but there is good reason. The athosphere is good but a little noisy due to hard surface walls, but the excellent service and outstanding food more than off-set any minor distraction. Try the nightly risotto dish, always superb!!

My ex and I were one of Lugano's first customers. They opened just before our 1st anniversary, and we went there for dinner. There was one other couple. Now...you have to book ahead and go early for parking! Service and quality have not suffered as business has increased, and it's still my favorite place on the east side to eat! Plus, it's within walking distance, so makes for a nice evening (in appropriate weather)

We love the Lugano restaurant. The food is wonderful and the menu changes often. the chef/owner is always there and comes to your table to see if everything is alright.
