The Mandarin is Fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I would drive for hours to get that. As others have stated, the place is always packed and, at times, there is a wait. However, the longest I waited was for 20 minutes with a party of 6 on a Friday night (about 7 p.m.). The family style is the way to go. The food is well ...

Too crowded, too noisy, too long a wait for mediocre food. I much prefer other Chinese restaurants in town who have better, faster service and delicious food. Won't waste my time here again.

Every person from Bountiful can tell you about this place. It's about the only "restaurant" (not a chain) in town. The food is so-so and seems to be slipping. I been forced to meet the family there about 4 times and the one thing that I always remember is the wait is monumental. They cram everybody into a dingy, worn-out, dump of a ...
My wife and I have been going to the Mandarin since it opened. Friends have listened to us go on about how wonderful it is and have suggested other places that we might enjoy. We have tried virtually every place in the Northern part of the state. I must say again, Nothing even comes close to this dinning experience. Everything on the menue is worth trying, but to do that you will have to return several times.
I have been lucky enough to have first dined at the MANDARIN in 1979. Since that time, I have never, ever been dissatisfied with either the food, the service, the portions or the atmosphere. I reccomend the Won-ton Soup. I have visited 27 different countries on different continents, but I have yet to taste anything as delicious the Mandarin in Bountiful.

I have only been able to have takeout from the Mandarin. They have absolutely excellent Chinese. I wouldrecommend the food to anyone. It is the best in the Valley and certainly worth the drive!

This is my favorite restaurant!

First, it is really busy most nights, so plan on getting there either early or late or you will wait a while. Second, this location seems to be in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Bountiful, Utah. However, it is definitely worth the drive. And they do accept reservations. I have not tried to make one and I think they have an eight ...
