This place place is great if you like dry chicken on your burrito with no sauce or flavoring, you'll love it! I don't quite understand how others have said it's the best in the whole country -I'd like to know what they order. It's the worst I've even had. The only thing it's got going for it is the new building.

We have been customers for many years and the food has always been excellent - untl the last two visits. Last time the meat IN our food was very over cooked and dry and the main items looked like they had been over cooked and dried out. The sauce included. I'm not sure we will go again.

I have been there Several times when others ask to go there,each time the food was bad but I gave them other trys because sowmtimes you get a bad meal at a good place, the last time I took my daughter, We had the same experience I have always had we found the food repulsive and overpriced and the service was horrid, my daughter nic-named it El Gagador. If you want good food I would go somewhere else.

Best sit down Mexican food in Bountiful and only a little better than school lunch on a good day. But if you like ketchup and frozen dinners you'll like El Matador. If you want good Mexican you have to go somewhere besides Bountiful.

I'm really surprised at the reviews written on here. I've been there twice and the food was excelent! The atmosphere was dim and lovely. I think they have the same lunch and dinner prices and it was so cheap. The average from what I saw was about $8 so I don't know what others are talking about as far as price. We really enjoyed it!

People are you serious? That place is the worst excuse for a Mexican restaurant I've ever experienced. The waitress was ok but the hostess who seated us could be the spawn of Satan. The food was terrible, Del Taco down the street seems to have a better grasp on what Mexican food really is. Don't eat there.

This restaurant has the worst service that I have ever experienced. I will never go this this place again. We try to speak with the manger, he was an older man and was as belligerent as his staff.

I have been going here since I was little. It is the best mexican food I have ever had. You do need a little bit of padding in your wallet when you go here but you won't find better anywhere else. 2 out of 7 disapprove all I can say is those two must have gone on an off night because I have never been to this place when it was less than amazing.

I've grown up eating here and I love it!!! I've had my fair share of mexican food and this is one of my favorites. I also love the new location! Great place to eat!
