I went to lunch there today with 11 fellow co-workers and guests arriving at 12:15. The place was about empty, so we were immediately seated. This was the best part of the entire experience as it went downhill from here.
The waitress asked if these were going to be separate checks or together. Being the boss, I immediately and clearly said ...

Not worth the price! The food is pretty tasty, but the portions are very small. I ordered the scallops which are very good. They were served with some overly salted spinach which I was unable to eat. My husband's steak was not that great. We both left still feeling hungry. We are not large people nor do we eat abnormally large amounts of food. ...

here is a copy of the note we sent to the manager-Mr. Hooper,
My husband and I dined at your restaurant last night after an important event and were hoping for a wonderful meal as we've remembered it to be in the past. We were very disappointed in the food. The appetizers and dinners were sub par. My order of Seafood Linguine ...

We've been to Murphy's several times and always been happy with the food and the service. On one occasion my fish wasn't fully cooked and they were great about it making it right for me. I am picky about wine (only like the sweet stuff) and the waitress was happy to offer me a taste of a couple of them to see if they were sweet enough. ...

Murphy's is always our first choice when dining or just hanging out. Very friendly with good food, good location plenty of parking very traditional. One thing I like very much is all age's frequent this establishment. NICE

Christmas Dinner: Attractive facility; excellent service, friendly personnel, service with a smile. Ordered Ham, was served turkey; dinner lukewarm, green beans inedible. Very disappointed.
A place that has as one of its customers the man who has the world-wide potato "franchise" for McDonald's can't be too bad!

Good food, slow service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/20/05
I went during their lunch hour so they were somewhat busy but there was no waiting to be seated. With that said, we did have to wait a pretty long time to get our food and for someone on a strict one hour lunch, that can be a bad thing. Anyways, the food was very good and cooked as I had requested it.
