I could not get in the place to eat when it was open because it was ADA non-compliant; no wheelchairs allowed. I hope the new place is better.

I have always like Louie's downtown location the food has always been excellent, good service and moderate pricing, however I went to the Meridian location this past weekend and was dismayed to find the atmosphere cold (marble tables) with a huge open room, uncomfortable (cafe style chairs),and the food virtually tasteless. The lasgana is to die forLouie's is a family run business and unique to Idaho. They have excellent Italian food. But especially their lasagna! The atmosphere is always great and most of the wait service is great! Also check out their Tiramisu! They have 2 locations one on Idaho st in Boise, ID and one in Meridian, ID. It is nice to get away from chain restaurants so if you visit Boise and want a good Italian experience I highly recommend this restaurant.OVERALL
