Asiago's has excellent food. I think it's the best in Boise. Even though I've liked every dish I've eaten, there are two that are my favorites. Bolzano (pasta) and L'enigma (salad). They've fixed up the place so it is roomier and just plain feels good inside. My friends who eat there rave about the food.

Asiago is not a good Italian place to eat 'true' Italian food. I have read all the reviews, my conclusion, Boisean's are truly a non-cultural city; they can't taste good food even if it hit them right between the eyes.

Way better than the one on Cole - I used to go to that one until the food started to taste bland and the service started to irritate even my non-confrontational nerves. The one downtown is small (quaint), darling, and delicious with attentive service that can't be beat.

Being an Italian from Europe and living in most major cities in the USA it is hard to find a Good italian resturant anywhere in Idaho. If I can make better pasta or sauce than the chef then I don't enjoy eating out! Not the case with Asiago's !!!! I love it!

  • not the best Italian in Boise but pretty good
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/04
Asiago's is a very good restaurant and is priced moderately but portions are substantial. This particular location is a little cramped with only maybe a dozen tables or so and the ambiance is not what I'd expect at a finer Italian restaurant but you don't notice it much after you get the food. They serve every meal with fresh baked ...
