We love Zapata's!! Great food, great location, friendly staff!! We eat there regularly!

There was nothing authentic about the food!!! Chips and salsa were tasty but my meal was cold (not from sitting too long but from not being completely cooked) and lacked in congruent flavors. Way too much cheese on the food. Service was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I grew up with real Mexican fare. You won't find a decent enchilada, chili relleno or tamale here. Most of the food is canned and they use frozen tamales from a food service. The relleno is like a thin omelette with a chili and a little shredded cheese inside. Not authentic or good. The sour cream sauce/crab enchiladas or the spinach enchiladas ...

We love Zapata's. Have always had great service and delicious food there for over ten years (used to love them at their old location on the West Strip too!). Warning - the food is spicy!! But it is what I call "good spicy" which means it is flavorful with a kick rather than just a hotness with no flavor.
