I grew up in Torrington, and any time I go back, we have to go to Lira's. Sometimes we'll even get take some home. I know people from other places that have to have "carry out" from Lira's when they are close. The food is wonderful and the taco's are like none other that I've tried - mmmmmmm!

Lira's is great! The best taco you will ever eat. The super nachos are great also. The thing I like most about Lira's is they don't have all these crazy things on the menu. The pay close attention to the important foods. And by the way it is in Lingle not Torrington!

Intresting food. It was awful

I am a local, and most people around my area rave about Lira's. It is a decent place to eat some Mexican food, but it isn't as good as some of the other choices in the area. They do serve good drinks, though.

It's hard to feel upbeat about this, it seems like they are more interested in serving alcohol than genuine cuisine.
