We detoured to Salida on our way home to make sure we tried this place due to the rave reviews. The service was average, the food was well below average. Laughing Ladies is a great place to eat lunch. We were passing through Salida and had a wonderful meal. The salmon salad was one of the best ever, and the chicken fettucine boasted a light sauce and fresh ingredients. I'll go back again when I visit the town!

When traveling from Santa Fe we often go out of our way to stop for dinner at the Laughing Ladies. Great food and a friendly atmosphere!!
