This is the best German food outside of Germany. We have eaten there for years and have recommended friends eat there and everyone just loves it. The staff is friendly and service is great..Hate the Edleweiss..lousy food and atmosphere..a bit on the snotty side...Uwe's is the best!

The food was good, don't get me wrong, but the service was terrible. It took us forever to get seated, to get served our dinner and to be offered desert. I will not go back. The restaurant is tiny, the decorations were from the 70's and the waitress was not good at all. She didn't offer me another drink and she forgot my daughter's refil.

ate here on 10/08/08 - ordered goulash, was pathetic with quarter inch cubes of meat that was flavorless, as well as the flavorless gravy and spatzel which was like wall paper paste nodules, the portion was less than filling, came with a miserly sized salad plate with about a tablespoon full of potatoe salad, and a couple other salad items. ...

Ausgezeichnet! The food and service was fantastic. I highly recommend Uwe's. My family and I will be going back again and again. The Apple-strudel was top notch as well!
