I loved this place. Yummy breakfast French Toast with their own multi-grain bread. Place has a comfortable and historic feel. Love the artwork and mixed seating. Seriously a very relaxing and YUMMY place all around!

We were seated right away for breakfast and the waitress was fine. I was expecting a long wait for the food because there are explanations everywhere that say they spend time making the food. The wait wasn't that long at all - maybe 15 - 20 minutes. I had Huevos rancheros and it was served just as the menu described - very good. They should add another women's stall to the restrooms b/c there was always a wait!

I was served a luke warm glass of water as we waited 40 min before being seated. We and other patrons had to ask why there were so many empty tables both inside and on the patio. The hostesses did not seem to notice the empty seats!! In fact, one of them sat at a table wrapping utensils into paper napkins after she grabbed them by the fork tines ...

January 1,2009 Not the place to go if you are hungry, it is about a 30 to 45 minute wait for your food, and is not that great. They are under staff, service is poor. Don't go there with hungry children.

Adam's has its good days and bad days. The menu is definitely a delight. And for the most part the food has been good. But It does seem over priced. Also - definitely not a kid palce-- they will have a tough time with the menu.

This is the best restaurant in the area!! I have always loved everything I have eaten there and so has every person we have brought with us. Being a vegetarian in Colorado can be hard sometimes, so I love how veggie-friendly this place is. All the meals are so healthy and fresh, you don't feel guilty for eating out!! The service is slow, intentionally, so be prepared for that. You go to enjoy, not to grab a bite.

A Total Let Down
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/07
To come down from the most beautiful mountains in the world and then eat at Adams Cafe is about the biggest let down on the planet. The look of Adams is very inviting and draws you in from the street. However once inside the menu is poor and not very insprired.
The starter salad was lame, you'd expect a vegie restaurant to excel here, but it ...

Visited Adam's Mountain Cafe on 6/3 -- WONDERFUL!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/07
We have recently moved to the area, and had had many recommendations for Adam's Mark -- so we decided we had to try this known restaurant. And it was marvelous! The atmosphere is charming, with rustic tables (including the very European concept of the community table), great artwork by local artist Charles Rockey, and decent wine list. But the ...

A real disappointment!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/03/07
My husband and I dined at Adam's Mountain Cafe on April 28, 2007. We read several reviews and were excited to try it out. To start with, they lost our reservation. Although they eventually worked us in, this mistake set the tone for the entire evening. We found the service inadequate and the food average at best. Two things stand out in my ...
