Having recently moved from the east coast we have been very disappointed in the sushi options of NOCO. Suehiro has consistently been the best place we've been to. We had the yellowtail, hawaiian yellowtail, and the white tuna last night and it was outstanding. The complimentary miso soup is quite good and personally I enjoy the salad as well ...

For those of you who think suehiro's is poor, you have a lot to learn. I lived in Japan for 4 years and Suehiro's is the closest thing to real authentic Japanese’s food I have found in the US. The only thing they are missing is it's not in Japan.

I have to disagree with the statement that Suehiro's is trendy and sub-par. The staff are great and the sushi is the best in town. I've never been disappointed!

I've been a frequent diner here for over 10 years and there is always something new to try. Whether you like to sit at the bar, at a table or in the tea room, it is ...

  • Poor at best
    By ThetaC, 02/08/07
Suehiro is far too trendy, and the sushi is sub-par. If you want good sushi there are far better places to spend your money. Heck, if you want decent sushi, there are better places to go even in Fort Collins.

The place is very noisy, and full of college kids. The service is also extremely slow. There is no reason that it should take almost 45 ...

  • Mis-labeled as the best
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/07
Suehiro is one of those trendy sushi places where Americans go and pretend that they are getting good sushi.
The head sushi chef is nice, but that does not translate to making good sushi. They roll some of the skimpiest rolls in town, using fish from the same suplier as all the other sushi restraunts in town. They key though is that they ...

Suehiro's has everything you're looking for in a Japanese Restaurant. With a great location, lovely ambiance, fresh sushi, reasonable prices, variety, delicious entrees, and soup and salad included with every order, what's not to love? You can sit in the traditional tea room or chat with the friendly head chief at the bar or just ...

The sushi at Suehiro is unconscionably fresh, even for a former East Coast sushi snob!

  • Sushi - like food
    By hiris, 05/22/06
My good friend comes from Japan and he wasn't impressed at all. It's American Party Sushi and is far from real good Sushi with fresh fish which melts in your mouth. If you think this is excellent Sushi, you don't know the real Sushi. Ft. Collins doesn't have an excellent Sushi restaurant (Nimo is better), in my opinion. If you want ...

  • The Best Sushi in Town
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/05
Suehiro's always offers the freshest fish and has a great variety whenever I dine there. I highly suggest sitting at the "sushi bar" for a personal experience with the sushi chefs. They are fun and will build you just about anything you desire. For those who can't stomach sushi, Suehiro's has a huge menu to satisfy your ...
