I have to disagree with these nasty ratings! We just love the Old Capitol Grill!! The food is fantastic and the service is always wonderful!!! Its hard to find both good service and food in one place anywhere in this state! However, Capitol Grill managed to do both!

The menu provided for comfort food, nicely prepared, abundant portions, excellent service and a pleasing decor.

This was my first excursion to this fine establishment in some eight years. It retained all of the fine qualities that I recalled from the first visit.

I would recommend this place highly.

This was one of the most dissapointing experiences in dining I've ever had. In our party of 7 noone was satisfided. The food was tepid at best. Two years ago the place was nearly destroyed by fire and certain death would have been the best outcome. But like a bad dream there would be a reincarnation. Instead of a fresh approach that should have included a new and creative chef, an interesting atmosphere and the opportunity to be something different, the path of least resistance was chosen. ...

The Grill is the worst food and service in the area. It's the most white trash restaurant in Colorado (dirty and gross), that I've been to at least. Go anywhere else.
