In February, I got a take-out from Maggiano's on 16th St., my usual garlic shrimp shell pasta dish. I didn't realize that they had recently changed the pasta to linguine, and the sauce from fresh tomatoes to a canned tomato base. Not only was the shrimp barely pink, but the linguine was overcooked to the point of being pasty. (I was ...

  • Great Place
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/17/07
The food here is great. There are many things on the menu to order. Really large portions and lots of take home. We even used it for our wedding reception and every one loved it. The ambiance is wonderful with lots of deep rich woods.

Rude staff. Food was mediocre, at best. The portions are really small & the prices too high. Not worth it.

  • Please reconsider eating here...
    By lilbabygirl2125, 04/03/07
I have only visited one Maggiano's Little Italy, and that one visit was enough for me. As my boyfriend and I entered the restaurant the hostesses working at the front were rude and unwelcoming. We decided to sit in the bar area by another couple. It took a while for our waitress to even acknowledge our presence. As we started snacking on ...

Nice place to take the whole gang to our just that friend that likes to eat too much. It's hard to get out of there without eating too much.

  • Good Location, Good for Groups
    By DLS, 03/28/06
I've been to Maggiano's 3-4 times over the last couple yrs and it's always been ok, but it's a chain so don't expect anything truly different. It's mid-priced and the portions are large. It is a really good place for larger groups. They have large tables and a lot of room so you don't feel cramped. It would be ok for ...

This place is so nice! I have been to both the downtown location as well as the DTC one and nothing compares. Romantic, classy, stylish, everything rolled into one! You just cannot go wrong when you go to Maggianos.

  • Unexpected hiccup
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/14/06
I've enjoyed trips to Maggiano's dozens of times in Chicago & Denver, but our last trip to the one in downtown Denver was awful. Despite having reservations a month in advance, they stuck us at a lousy table by the kitchen. Our server didn't find us for more than 20 minutes to get even a drink order. When she took our food order, we ...

great atmosphere, love the staff!!! I would love to take the entire staff home, They treat you like family! Lisa the Bostonian bartender is dynamic, and Sue-B-lisious is the most incredible wait person I have met! This woman goes above and beyond. I give them an A for service and and over all experience!
