No idea why this restaurant is still open. The food was ok and after trying it once will never go there again. There are so many great places around.

More proof that there isn't a good Italian place around Denver. We need some Mafia around here to "demand" good food.... Sauce is embarrassing (watery, too much oregano), you can buy better for $3/jar (Classico, Paul Newman) in the grocery store. Pasta is ok, but thick. $9 for 6 tiny dried out flavorless ravioli is a price shock. ...

I can't speak for the interior because I've never bothered to get a table, but the Blue Parrot's takeout is stellar. Bring your own pans (because why take styro and aluminum trash home with you when you have pans unused?) and take away meatballs, ravioli and the most exquisite red sauce between the Continental Divide and Philadelphia. ...

Stick to the pasta, and keep it bare. It defies logic that this place draws the crows it does - besides the geriatric crew I wonder how much of it is repeat business.
