My family and I eat here last week while we were overnighting in Lubbock. It is excellent and inexpensive. The restaurant was pretty clean and has a nice atmosphere.
It made an impression on my college aged son too. He called yesterday and said "What was the name of that Mexican place in Lubbock that was so good? I want to tell a friend."
Highly recommended.OVERALL -
finally! i found a place to get authentic mexican food at a good price. its awesome to get tacos al pastor for $5 at 9:30pm on a Sunday...OVERALL

The most authentic best tex-mex food in town, most of the waitstaff doesnt speak spanish though, so you better brush up on your espanol. Im fluent so it wasnt an issue for me, i thought it gave it a more authentic atmosphere. You gotta try the quesadillas or the barbacoa burritos, mmmmm!!!!OVERALL

Great taste, Great value!Finally, a place to go for a great lunch special at a decent price. Ever since I've been in Lubbock for school, I've looked and longed for a place where I can get food like at home in San Antonio. Great taste, $3.99 lunch specials are superb, good salsa, good atmosphere compared to other places with similar menus. Chips were a little stale last time I went, but not an everyday occurence.
