My friend took me to this Houston's in Austin last Thursday for a late lunch. I had the Sashimi Tuna Salad: "pan-seared ahi with cilantro-ginger vinaigrette, mixed greens, avocado and mango". Well-balanced concerto of flavors, even if dressing is perhaps slightly understated.

Good overall but these folks need to seriously revisit their take-out policy. They do not allow for phone orders during primary meal times on the weekends. Frustrating to be rejected by an otherwise likeable establishment. Particularly when you are trying to provide requested food to a parent with cancer.

if you go order: large prime rib with baked patato, traditional salad with buttermilk garlic dressing, cheeze toast for appatizer... they also somehow make a great crown n coke. if you don't like that meal, go to hell---- if in austin also try cool river, eddy v's, austin land and cattle

We wanted to pay compliments to the management and besides a generous tip to the wait staff we wished to tip the cooks that prepared the meal. The management person was a complete idiot and NUTS. What a unprofesssional individual. I believe they were ...
