First time dining. The food is excellent, service was outstanding but the place needs cleaning up. We were seated by the window, not only 1 inch of dirt on the window seal but a bunch of dead bugs. Woud love to come back but was a little turned off by the dead bugs which had obviously been there for quite a while. Agian, great food. Guess we should have been seated outside.

Romeo's is the convergence of Olive Garden and Keep Austin Weird on Barton Springs Road. It can be fun but it is not Italian or even Italian American.

Started out okay but ended up badly. A broken chair with no help or even acknowledgment from the management or wait staff. Thank goodness for kind fellow patrons. There are a lot wonderful eateries in Austin that offer excellent service--this is not one of them.

I went to Romeo's with a group of 6 on Valentine's Day and the experience was abysmal. I understand that it is a busy holiday for restaurants, but I truly expected more from a place that I used to love.
The service was slow (the wait was normal, but we were there for 3 hours after we were seated), the waitstaff was rude and inattentive, ...

When yearning for Italiano I love to hit this spot. The appetizer spinach dip is yummo and the Shrimp Alfredo is great and they serve it with fresh warm bread. just heavenly. the staff is unobstrusive and they are prompt and pleasant and overall enjoyable evening. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always have. I have never been disappointed.

We love Romeo's!
Recent updates to the wine list and the beer selection are just awesome!!! They have the best winelist for a mid-casual restaurant in town. Food is always good and prices are fair. It might look a little kichey, but you'll have a great time on the patio.
$5 at 5 happy hour is really cool - full size martini's for $5? I'm in! Live piano is fun too

First of all the food was EXCELLENT. I had the stuffed shells and my wife had the shrimp in pesto, both dishes were very fresh and tasty, this coming from a guy that really doesn't get excited about Italian food. The portion sizes were almost enough for two and they had a good selection of wine. The service was alright, not the best, but ...

My husband and I ate at Romeo's while in Austin. I had the pepper seared Tuna which was absolutely fabulous. My husband had the blackened shrimp milanese which he hated. The shrimp were not blackened and the sauce was too tomatoey (new word :-}). The tiramisu for dessert was very good and the sour apple martini was also good. Our waiter was ...
