This restaurant is out of the way yet, just south of Hwy 83 in Alamo/Donna TX. The seafood is lightly breaded and cooked as fish should be, allowing for the freshness to show. The combination plate of fajita steak and enchiladas was wonderful. The meat sauce provided a wonderful combination and the cheese was not over whelming. This is a great place with the local atmosphere that provides a good reason to visit the Rio Grande Valley.

You'll know this is the restaurant for you if you like that great homely cooking only our grandmas seem to be able to cook. This place is great for family, couples, or just friends. The atmosphere is great, and the food is just absolutely and delightfully delicious. Breakfast at El Dorado is my all time favorite. I guarantee you'll love it.

This is a must when visiting the valley. There are many taquerias and other small restaraunts where you don't know what to expect. But this one is a good traditional home-made food good spot. Make sense? I do have to say that it does get full and you may have to wait in line to get seated and even to pay, but the food is good.
