This is way overpriced for the meal you receive. Waitress not particularly attentive.

Delicious and unique food. Where else can you get quail in mole, a venison burger, drunken goat cheese, or lamb sausage? And yes, you will pay a bit more for these well-prepared rarities. The off-kilter building is a novelty, but we go there for the food.

I suggest trying the lamburger. It is a change from the ordinary. I really like the pot roast too.

My boyfriend and I went there the other day. The guy serving/cutting bread looked so incredibly depressed and pissed off, very unpleasant - just kinda threw the bread at us. Food was sub par, I felt it was slightly over priced and the place had an odd feel. Ambiance may be better at night.

We were treated awfully. I'm embarrassed I took my artist friend from New Mexico who was in town for SW Craft fair there. A comfortable place to meet friends and relax - wide range of beers and good basic food - loved the pot roast sandwich! Easy to find - right off 281. I stop in every time Im in San Antonio - and so should you!

Fun place. Good drink and a place for lame tourists to catch a local SA celebrity like Tommy Lee Jones or a Spurs player. The food is good, great Sunday brunch that is crowded, and good atmosphere. As I said before, the tourists can be obnoxious, especially large drunk groups of them swaggering into the leaning bar.

Simply Forgettable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/06
It's a cute restaurant, charming in the way the foundation seems as though it might implode in on itself. However, the food and service are easily forgettable and sooooooo ordinary. They do attempt to be a more high end eatery than Josephine's next door, but they don't pull it off. The food is overpriced and the waitstaff bland. Do yourself a favor and go to the steak joint next door and grab a killer chicken fried steak or t bone.
