The service was great. It was a very casual atmosphere. One page basic menu. We ordered the cheese burger and apple pie. Both were very good.

Poor service---spilled tea on wife. Half the food came 30 minutes after the first dishes. Each plate was brought one at a time all with the wrong sides. The waitress did not inform us they had run out of sides.I have been in and out of this cafe since 1978---it has hit absolute bottom.Even when they had screwed up the orders and they were an hour and a half after we had arrived, the meal was full price.

Best place we have found in the area and I think we have tried them all. Great food and service and prices are quite reasonable. Menu is small which tells me they serve what they do well. An added bonus is they are not far form home. Just doesn't get much better than that.

It's go to be the best Chicken Fried Steak around. You better come hungry!
