The new Gringo's in Pearland Town Center was awesome! But it sucked to find out that Gringo's doesn't have anything listed for the new location, so when I placed a to go order, we were looking at the wrong one in Pearland and they didn't even give us directions ... our food was cold by that time and wish that the corporate office would update their information ...

I finally was able to try Gringo's. I ordered the fajitas in my quest to find the best Mexican restaurant. They arrived and I was disappointed that they were not sizzling. I fixed them up and bit into them and they were warm, not hot, and kinda bland.I doubt I will be back to eat here. I've had waaaaay better food. Service was excellent is only thing I really liked.

If you are placing an order to go you need to check it before you leave the restaurant. Our order was wrong, there was only one very small bag of chips for two people and there was no silver ware or napkins. Also, the rice and beans looked as though someone in the kitchen had eaten them as there were hardly any in the dish.

With the exception of the ridiculously long wait times for a table, this place is great. Good salsa, inexpensive yet tasty food, and fabulous margaritas. Loud environment, but we go there with 2 young kids so it suits us just fine. Beef fajitas and tortilla soup are great!

i was there on Mar. 15 around 5-8pm. i sat at the bar area to eat and noticed the two female bartenders, which seem to be involved with each other in my opinion, were having a personal problem with each other. The way they were publicly showing their problems to the customers, meaning me and others, was inappropriate. In my opinion it was sexually. ...

It's my favorite place, especially in Pearland. Great salsa, margaritas, enchiladas, it's worth the wait especially when you get free ice cream

The food is disappointing from a quality stand point and the waiters try hard to upsell additions to plates with out disclosing the additional cost. It is a very loud place , but very kid friendly. This is not a good adult date night place because of the poor quality food and the loud environment.
It is an easy place to take the kids.

Gringo's is a successsful local chain for a number of reasons, but it is overrated when it comes to the quality of the food. It's very noisy and there are often horrendous waits to get in (over 30 minutes is not unusual). You might have to park across the street at the carwash if you are there at a busy time, and this is for food that is ...

Come Join the Crowd at Gringos
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/17/07
If you like to eat with other folks, come join the fun at Gringos! You might have to wait a few minutes because the place is full all of the time. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is excellent, the service is good, and the price is right. What are you waiting for? Go to Gringos in Pearland, Texas at 2202 Broadway, north of Friendwood.
