The restuarant is awesome. My family really enjoyed it. I will agree with every customer and say that the food is over priced and that you are paying for the scenary, however, we will be returning in the future.

I EXPERIENCED THE RAINFOREST CAFE, FOR THE FIRST TIME A WEEK AGO, I WAS SKEPTICAL UPON READING THE REVIEWS OF MANY PEOPLE, HOWEVER I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE STAFF, ATMOSPHERE, AND THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. I READ MANY BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD, & IT BEING HEATED UP AND TASTELESS. I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE. I FOUND ALL ...

Didn't like the food or service. Overpriced, took 20 mintues to get drinks & food just wasn't good. We did however like the VOLCANO! Gift shop was nice (the kids enjoyed this the most).

I would only reccomend this place if you have a child that will enjoy it. The food is average and over-priced. The atmosphere and setting is really exciting for kids though! My four year old loved it. But again, dont go here just for the food....there are much better places in Galveston

The coolest place for kids. Adults will like it too. Food is too expensive for the quality.

Atmosphere: GREAT. Theme: GREAT. Food: OVERPRICED. I know they have to pay for the extravagant deco, but the food was NOT all that. I had the Lava Nachos. Huge portion, didn't eat it all, and I could have gotten the same, probably better dish in a regular tex-mex restaurant. My wife and mother-in-law split a shrimp platter of some kind ...

Talk about sensory overload! The place was wall to wall people and the noise was almost unbearable. Loud and obnoxious, screaming children. Patrons w/o reservations were told there was a 3 hour wait time. Luckily we had made reservations the day before. The server was nice but kept trying to up sell us. The food was average but the prices were high. I don't plan on ever going back.

A couple of friends and I went for a girls day out, and we ended up staying at the Rainforest most of the day. The drinks were great, the food better. We must have rode the ride at least 4 times. We got there about the time that it opened and the service was great. We left for awhile and decided to walk back, the second time around however, it was ...

They are awesome. I like both Cafe's, but for more fun while you wait, I recommend the one in Galveston simply for the water ride.
