Food is expensive and average. You don't get free refills on the drinks. The decor is awesome though. It's like you're under the sea.

Service is average. Food is below average. You are paying for atmosphere. They automatically add 17% gratuity. We ate there when they first opened and again about a month ago and no improvement.

The evening we had dinner there, the noise was deafening. It could've been a nice atmosphere with the tranquil aquariums to look at, but it was loud, loud, loud. The food was passable but far too overpriced for the quality. The rice pilaf that comes with many of the entrees is tasteless. The vegetables tasted frozen. Seafood was just ok. Waiter was too busy for us. Poor service.

It is a Landry's after all... you can get the same thing at any of the restaurants in Kemah, and it will always taste the same. This is a great place to blow money one a date, or take the visiting family members to, but otherwise, there are much better choices around to have a nice dinner. Try Chabucas on NASA 1.

My family and I have had the pleasure of eating at the Aquarium twice. We live about 3 hrs away, and visit Houston often, but a couple of times we have stayed in Kemah to do the boardwalk. This place is all about atmosphere and kids. The food is sub par and not up to the prices they charge. If you want to go see some neat fish and ride some rides do it. If you want a great meal look somewhere else.

The restaurant was really nice when you first walk in because you see this huge aquarium. As u go upstairs to be seated it was nice but not as nice as the entrance. We spent a lot of money on the food however the food did not taste that good.

My boyfriend and I went here and had a wonderful experience. The waiter gave us information on the aquariums and had full knowledge of the food that they served. We loved all the food that we had. I would recommend this for a nice night out. I have gone back a couple more times since, and had the same great service each time.
