Caracas is an important economy centre in South America. The city enjoys a warm weather all year long. You can feel the Caribbean culture influence in this city.

We always have a good time in Caracas. We usually stay at the King's Inn Hotel near Plaza Venezuela. The Sabana Grande is better than any flea mkt I have ever been to in my life. Always, great food, good shopping....what more could you want. The only thing that is outrageous are the prices for a taxi. I had to pay $40 one way to the airport the last time I was there.

Caracas is a metroplitan with all the attached maladies; smog, traffic, crime, etc. It is the point of entry to Venezuela, but if I go back again I would rather stay out of the capital as much as possible. Venezuela has many many interesting areas to visit out side of the major town and it has lovely beaches and islands that can be reached easily and cheap.

I dont like it because it have an ungly structure and also becasue is very unsafe. I felt scared all the time.

Prefer other cities in Latin America.
