For anyone interested in this place, be aware that management does not honor reservations. They do not ask for a credit card or deposit. Instead they instruct the customer to confirm the reservation either by leaving a telephone number or an Internet (e-mail) message. Bogota might be a nice place to visit temporarily and may impress a short-term visitor with its skyscrapers and trendy malls, but we certainly did not like our extended stay there. First of all it is highly polluted. The city busses pour chemicals into the air every time they come to a stop. The motorists are terrible and will actually speed up ...

The Colombians are very friendly and nice. I liked hanging out and eating in Carullah (the Whold Foods Market of Colombia). Salto De La Angel was great with fantastic music and beautiful ...
